  1. i couldn't get it to run in xp compatibility mode. i tried those drivers on vista but it still dont work
  2. does the netmd player its self have the encryption too?? if that was the case then i think it would make more sense. since that would mean you can only use that netmd player on that computer with that library. since i was trying to transfer music to my md player from a fresh vista install to a blank md on a computer that i am just building a library for. I never transfer from my md to my computer as its a pain in the ass. since any song that i want that is on my md i recorded on my sharp md unit using digital in digital out from portable cd player. if that is the case then its kinda messed up.. I was using SS2.2 on my old comp and then i started using ss3.4 on my gf's comp.. I install vista and update to ss4.3 and im stuck with a md paperweight.. through out all the changes i didn't backup my library as my library was usually empty(by empty i mean only had the songs i wanted to transfer at the time). edit: all my music are mp3's i don't have any omg as i use cdex to rip my cd's edit2: i installed SS4.3 on my winxp machine and i tried transfering the same songs and it works without any problems... So i guess that means my netmd player can't be used on vista unless there are new drivers maybe
  3. Well trying to use my md player again. I installed SS 4.3 on my vista comp. Hoping I would be able to use it. But when I goto transfer to my md i get the "Transfers are not allowed." error I can delete and play the tracks that are on my netmd using SS 4.3 but just can't transfer to my netmd. So out of frustration I contacted Sony Online Support. and they tell me "if you have upgraded your computer to use the Windows Vista operating system, Sony does not guarantee the operation of your Sony portable audio device with that computer." Since that wasn't really any help for me. Does anyone know of some kind or work around? I really don't want to put winxp back in just for sonic stage.
