  1. Yeah tried it on my girls laptop - no joy.
  2. You've hit the nail on the head - can't even access it to back my stuff up - thousands of pounds worth of music down the drain and no cds to back it up anymore! Anyone got any solutions at all? I'm willing to try anything bar opening it up!
  3. Yeah didn't think that a upgrade that is "compatible" would mean having to delete all my songs. I don't have a "my library", I only have so much space on my laptop so I tended to delete everything from it as soon as it was transferred Defo going back to Ipod next!
  4. Hi there - I have had my NW-HD1 for about a year and a half now and have been having a few problems with it for the last few months with tracks skipping and the "no database found" message coming up every so often - Gives me a heart attack usually but leaving it off or turning the battery off for half an hour or so solves the problem. Until now. They seem have completely disappeared this time time yet i can view the device properties through windows which is telling me they i am using 7.8GB so they must be there! That is far as I can get on wondows however as I cant access the device. For some reason I cannot browse the folders which I NEED to do to back up my tracks! When I try to I can click into the device windows explorer stops responding. Today I upgraded to the new sonicstage.connect thingy so I need to back my tracks up, I've sold all my cds and all! To be honest I'm not that bothered about the HD1 I think its had its chips but I really need to get my tracks, can anyone please help? !
