Hence me thinking I must be going mad...

I may be going crazy (or deaf) but I could bet I could really powerful bass out of my NW-E003 during the first weeks after purchase. Then regardless of which EQ setting I was using it seemed to lose its "punch". Does this sound feasible at all? Anyone have any sugesstions? Respect, Jakke
