  1. Your right, I have to take accountability for that. One would think that would be a given, but I forgot that common sense is not a requirement in business practices. Thanks for the alternative to saving my music! Atleast there is away to do it. Nimo123
  2. No, I just bought a Sandick MP3. Is there any way around that by using another program or hacking scenario?
  3. I bought a Sony Walman MD MZ-N505 a while back and had copied a bunch of music on the mini-discs. Its been while and I wanted to put the music back on my pc because I have a new MP3 player. Well what do you know when I try to transfer it back on to a new pc (old one is a goner) it won't let me. I tried using the OpenMG software and also tried the newer SonicStage software. I basically tells me since I am trying to transfer these back to a new pc that I am screwed. I went to the help site and this is what it says: Knowledge Article C392392 Error: The selected tracks originated from another computer. Cannot transfer the selected tracks. This error may occur if you are trying to transfer tracks from your portable player that originated from another computer. NOTE: This error may also occur if you are trying to transfer tracks originally transferred to a Net MD™ or Hi-M™D Walkman® player using the MD Simple Burner application back into the computer using the SonicStage® software. Tracks transferred to a Net MD™ or Hi-MD™ Walkman® player using the MD Simple Burner application can only be managed using that application. It is not possible to transfer these tracks to another computer using the portable player. If you have a new computer, you can use the backup tool to transfer your library of music files to your new computer. NOTE: If you do not have a backup or no longer have access to the original computer, you will have to delete the tracks from your portable player and re-import them from the original source into the new computer. Is there anyway around this or did I just get bent over by these guys? If so, I just lost a tote load of cash invested in my music.
