It is a bit difficult. Just to buy a minidisc, and HOPE it will work. I do not know anyone with a minidisc to try it. And if it not works I am stuck with a minidisc, wich is a nice thing, but not the solution to my problem...

Hi, I hope someone can help me A few days ago my standard mp3 player was crunched by my bycicle (that's not funny) I am now looking for a good replacement, en think MiniDisc is a good one. I want to use MiniDisc in a very special manner, but I do not know is it is possible. I have a nice (semi pro) camcorder wich I will use to film a local play/musical I also use a seperate microphone on my camcorder for even a bit better sound. I want to use my camcorder to capture the video and audio. I also want to record the sound of the soundmix instatallation, because the players are wearing microphones, and that is where I want to use MiniDisc. I want to record the direct sound of the microphones on mindisc. On my PC I wil capture the image and sound of my camcorder, and I want to mix the sound with the direct sound of the microphones on my minidsc, and mix it. I have done this with my MP3 player wich had a line in, but when I startet mixing the sound on my PC, I noticed a lot of synchronisation problems. After 120 secons the sound recorded with my camcorder and MP3player was NOT synchron any more. I want to know if I use MiniDisc, if this solves my problem. Can minidisc record sound as synchron as with my (semi prof) camcorder, so I can mix the sound on my PC without synchronisation problems? I hope you can help me Reinald Snel
