  1. Thanks--so it will record similar to the 707 i already have---great-- i have a ecm-719 {for quick recording} it does a real good job and 26 assorted mic's shure,ev,senheiser, and a 24 channel board that i sometime use--when i have time to set up --and the room to set it all up---that does great..I'm going to order the rh1 tomorrow--{sam ash music} 350.00 + tax they don't stock it but can get it--and i have a 400.00 gift card i need to use...thanks for the input--sorry about the caps--i couldn't find my glasses..
  2. HELLO OUT THERE--IS IT TRUE THAT ANYTIME I WANT TO RECORD {ON A RH1}--{I JUST USE IT TO RECORD MY BAND LIVE OFF A MICROPHONE}--THAT I HAVE TO USE THE REMOTE--THATS TOO MUCH JUNK TO KEEP UP WITH--MY 707 WAS GREAT FOR THIS--I JUST SET IT ON LP2,AUTO LEVEL--AND SLID THE RECORD BUTTON TO ON POSITION--THAT WAS EASY..I NEVER HAD TO USE THE REMOTE TO RECORD....SO WILL THE UNIT {RH1} RECORD WITHOUT THE REMOTE? I ALREADY READ THE CRAP ABOUT THE EJECT BUTTON--I CAN LIVE WITH THIS--IT JUST SITS ON TOP OF MY AMP WHILE RECORDING...
  3. Hi,yea i been using the ecm-719 mic that works very well recording the band live--very well--at least with my 707---the lowest low {kick drun and bass guitar} to the highest high {my guitar and keyboards even cymballs are crisp } and it does very well picking up the vocals from the monitors--it really is amazing how it gets everything--all at almost the same volume...and mic positioning isn't that crutial--it took a few tries but if i get close to the front middle of the band--it's really pretty good...but the best--and i mean best is when i mic everyone with a seperate mixing board and mics and it is such a fantastic recording--it's almost studio REAL CLEAN--AND YOU CAN'T HEAR THE DRUNK PEOPLE IN THE AUDIANCE IN THE MIX....THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT....JEFF
  4. Hey---just to cover my butt--i went to e-bay and had one hell of a time finding the m-200--i think i told you it was a r200--sorry-- but if you would like to view the new unit--which looks just like the rh1--this is the exact listing as written-----sony mz-m200 hi-md port.audio recorder replace mz-m100 thanks again for the help
  5. Thanks ---I pretty much though so
  6. HI, I been talking with sony about their RH1--i have a 707 that i been recording my band with for a couple years now--- i want to upload the to my p/c..the 707 won't do it so i wanted to order a RH1--which will..they are telling me i would get better recordings with their R200{they can't tell me why} and can't tell me if it will upload my old recordings to my p/c--i guess they don't actually use their products.. all i wan't to do is upload my old recordings and have the same {or better} recordings that i had with the 707..so what do i do??? thanks
  7. Thanks i pretty much thought that would be the answer to the problem----I'm going hi-md any recomendations?? By the way sometimes i drag out a 12 channel mixer and mic everyone-- i get great recordings --i probably could do it with a hi-md right
