I have the same-kind of problem with my NW-A1000 only I have noticed, that all the files which I can't trasfer are protected. Maybe someone knows how to change some sttings in SS if it's possible or what should I do. I have bought a CD and ripped it into my computer and now I can't listen it with my walkman -- it's ridiculous! Please help me! Thanks.

Hi! I have a similar problem with my NW-A1000. I'm using SS v.4 but it keeps skipping tracks when I want to transfer them to my player. Though I wan't to transfer them from my PC, it says an error that the transfers are not allowed Maybe someone could help me plz. Thanks. Sry I think I found the problem. Does anyone know how to take off the protection from a .wma file? I noticed that the other songs(the ones that I can transfer) are not protected.
