Hi Stuge Sorry for not reply before been away on business trip. The S/W was Sonic stage It seems ok but dose seem slow to boot up, Need to play around with more to get used to what it can do etc. AW1200 very happy with, sound quality is good but think I will need to get some different head phones. The unit has Version 3.00 S/W installed, need to check if this is the latest.

Hi All I have taken every advise and gone and got myself the A1200 in Black. It looks great, got it yesterday from the local Sony centre. I have load around 1000 tracks so far. The S/W dose not seem that bad it does slow down your PC a bit. But so far it great - Thanks all.

Have a further question which format do you rip the Audio book in ? Or if you are downloading from a web site which format are you selecting MP3 ? Looking at the Audio books sites non of them talk about Sony players ! Or is it that the Sony players are really only for Music files I have also read some where that you can only bookmark 5 list with 100 tracks on each, is this only done from the player or can this be set up on the PC using SS v4.0 Any comments any one please Reading a lot of reviews today on this site the A1200 / A3000 sounds really good, the problem I have we use a player both for Music and for Audiobooks and need to have both.

Hi I have been reading your comments on Audio books, have you found out how to bookmark on the A3000 ? The tag issue seems to sort out order of play ok. I also listen to Audio books and am considering to buy a A3000 or A1200 player.

Hi I am looking at the NWA1200 which looks great not sure if to get Black or Silver. Question I have can you bookmark with this player, as some times listen to Audio books. Also how clear is the display I know it's not good in sun light, but how is is it indoors Did have a Zen Micro photo until died. Thanks
