Thanks so much for the info!!! I got my DH710 at a local sony store in the suburbs of Vancouver BC in a mall called "Richmond Centre". It all seems to be working fine. My sister had a minidisc player for a number of years and I wanted to get a music player. She showed me her player and I quite like it, but when I looked the only fairly recent models were the $400 offerings of the RH1 and the 710. They had alot of older md players but they weren't worth it. Off to check out remotes now, thanks again!!!

Hi all, I just got the DH710 and it seems to have the "remote" port on it but the manual says nothing about this feature. Does anyone know if remotes will work with this unit, and if so which ones? Thank You

Hello all, I just discovered--albeit late!--the minidsic player device. My sister has had one for years but I never really paid that much attention to it. So I was wondering if anyone knows of a good local Vancouver area shop to purchase the MZRH10 or MZM100 models? I would like to avoid the whole online ordering thing if possible. The reason I ask is that when I check stores for these devices the response is usually, "nope, Sony stopped making them, so we don't carry them". The only place I found that sells them at all is the sony store and canadian tire of all places! Thanks for any info provided, really appreciate it
