  1. Are there any of the Hi-MD players with a non-wired remote? I'd like to be able to listen in bed, but am way too lazy to have to get out and turn it off when I want to go to sleep.
  2. I have been debating for a little while now about getting one of the Onkyo HiMD decks, and I figured I would ask here what yall do when you want to listen to MD's at home. Do most people here just plug in their portable to a stereo? Because it seems that not many people have made the jump to a deck/bookshelf, but there isn't really another way, especially if you want a non-wired remote to listen from bed/across the room/ect. Any thoughts? Because 500+ is alot for the X-B8, but just getting the MD-105FX is already 300+, and would have to get speakers, reciever, ect...
  3. Is this for real? If so, its a big bummer...I was considering getting one for myself for Xmas. Has anyone ever had any luck using Japanese eBay (if there is one?)? I hang out in german car forums alot, and I know that people usually have good luck using ebay.de; seems like it could be a possibility to find something as cheap if not cheaper than pricejapan
  4. I'm hoping this isn't a repeat (I looked around for awhile and couldn't find an answer, so here goes...) I'm back into using my MD player (MZ-NH600D) after awhile off, mainly because I was getting frustrated with changing songs on my MP3 player, and realized that I had a whole crapload of music on MD. I own a HiMD player (previously had a normal LP MD player), and am in the process of converting my CD's to HiMD format (the CDs usually remain in the car, so I'm considering buying a HiMD bookshelf or component deck). My question is; what is the best way to transfer files to the MD's? I have been using SonicStage to rip the files using ATRAC lossless 256k to my computer, and then burning to MD using whatever level will allow what I want to fit on the disc (usually 256k or 192k, if I need more than 2hrs on a 80min disc). However, this is taking awhile; is there another way to do this quicker (ie, straight from CD to MD? I lost SimpleBurner2 from my computer, and can't find the CD), or at least more efficiently? Thanks!
