that did the trick the battery pack was blocking the USB port, so I couldn't even see that there was a place for the small end of the cable. Camera cable worked fine. Sonicstage took it from there. Very easy after that first step. Thanks!!!!!

Sony MZ-RH910 Hi-MD

I am totally new to uploading - have been recording so have lots of material to upload - but new to it. So, I basically need to know where to start. I read the "essential uploading guide" here, but it says to use a USB cable. I went to radio shack and they were like, "Huh?" when I mentioned a USB cable with an .8" input on the other end. Will a regular audio cable work? If not, where would I find such a USB cable? I've downloaded SonicStage 4.0, but any other tips for starting an upload would be of help. Thanks!
