Worked quite well, but I've got stuck at the Laser/Power Adjustments. I've gotta get the equipment to fix this up. Therefore still got "NV Error" at startup. Going to report you soon about the progress .. Anyway, not quite active this forum, is it? Even with nearly 50.000 members, uoh?! A note aside: getting tired of that hole thing ..

Welcome to the club :-) Got a MZ-N707 and did exactly the same stupid thing .. actually I'm trying to reset all values (done that already) by using those instructions: BEFORE DOING EXACTLY AND EVERYTHING THAT'S WRITTEN THERE! DO NOTHING MORE THAN RESET, AS THIS HOWTO WAS WRITTEN FOR THE MZ-R WALKMANS!! http://www.minidisc.org/sony_mzr_reset.html My approach is to use the service manual (http://www.minidisc.org/manuals/sony/service/sony_MZ-N707_service_manual.pdf) to restore all values .. hopefully it will work. Hi guys! I got some trouble with my MZ-N707 and hoped you may could help me out? I would like to reset/upgrade the firmware of my Sony MZ-N707 as I did some kick-ass things in the service mode. Is there a way? Here some report what the NETMD does now: PLAY button does VOL+ PAUSE button does VOL- Firmware version: 1.300 Please report soon!
