i am putting it in the white side, and im recording from some songs i downloaded. i have a laptop and there are two holes in it. i plugged the cord into the hole where my speaker is in. something is wrong and i cant figure it out. i pressed record and all iget is silence but it says that i recorded something. and i can hear the music that iam recording while i record.

i dont have a usb cord but i do have a male-male 3.5mm stereo cable. but i still cannot record music onto my MZ-R700 mp3 player. i have pressed record but only record silence. can ayone help me with my dilemma?
