Hello, just registered on here as I love minidiscs but am having an unbelievable amount of problems with my net-md software. Ok, I just bought a Sony MDS-NT1 md player / recorder which is supposed to be able to transfer music to and from minidisc to pc. I have a Dell D400 laptop with windows xp professional. I previously had the latest version of sonicstage (4.2) but this wouldnt detect the mds-nt1, and I couldnt use open mg jukebox. So I deleted sonicstage and installed the software that came with the mds-nt1 : Sonicstage openmg version 1.5AE. This didnt work. I tried the various patches etc from sony and microsoft, which didnt help. Now I previously had a net-md which came with openmg jukbox v 2.2 (U). So, I uninstalled sonicstage, netmd drivers etc and installed this. Now, when I open either sonicstage or openmg jukebox I get the message "Cannot locate the application required. Exiting application". Please can someone help as this has taken about 6 hours today and is driving me MAD! Thanks - Matt.
