Since some kind dude or dudess walked off with the remote for my beloved Sony MDS-JE500a gig, I have been unable to access the autospace/autopause function. Unfortunately for me the autopause is set to "off" at the moment, the reverse of what I need. Several people I know have the same or similar decks and every one has said that they "seem to remember there is a way to do it" but since their units are already set to autopause and NONE of them has their remote, I am currently in TROUBLE. So... any chance someone out there knows a magic combination of buttons I might have missed? Or a brit near Cambridge/Peterboro U.K. who could lend me a remote for around ten minutes plus the driving time? (grin)
