  1. I am desperately hoping someone can help me with this. I have searched through the forums (and I have tried this already: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=18336), but nothing quite matches my problem. I have a Sony MZ-NHF800, which of course needs SonicStage in conjunction. (I know, I clearly didn't think it through very well when I bought it. I think I hate Sony now.) I recorded something yesterday, and recording was successful (I even listened to it on the MD device for a bit). I went to use SonicStage to transfer it to my Windows XP PC, but partway through the transfer process, SonicStage crashed. When I restarted SonicStage, I found that my file was gone. It was not on the transfer panel on SonicStage. And when I disconnected the MD device, I also found that the file was gone from my MD device as well. I then found that there was a HMA file on my PC that matched the date and time of the recording I made (0203000002000104753C0000845D45476DDC9811.hma). I know there's really no way to directly convert it to a useful audio file. I tried the workaround in the article I listed above, but I get an error in SonicStage saying, "Cannot use this disc because it was initialized by a program other than SonicStage", even though I initialized the disc with SonicStage. Is there anything else I can do? This recording means a lot to me. Please help! Thanks!
