so for all around use which hi-md is the best? also i saw a onkyo home hi-md unit on the web.. has anyone seen any of these?

thanx, i was thinking of getting another hi-md and i wanted it to work with my standard mdlp machines.

i read on the net that some hi-mds can record regular mds and they can be played on standard md machines. if so which hi-mds will do this?
