Wassup Gray Rider I only use my RH1 for recordings because I have a Creative Mp3 player; Does the difference in sound is a lot compared to an mp3 Player? I never use Hi-Mds as players before and I will give it a try but what is the best format to listen to music in my Hi-Md?

In the registration form there's an option in which you can choose a different country. Click in the option that says - Cambiar Pais and after that you will need to choose OTRO PAIS( Other Country) which is in the bottom of the list. Good Luck

Yeah; Hi-MD Models in my local stores are very expensive but in that site they are very cheap; Demand for them is very but very Low!! Everyone here as in the rest of the World is buying Ipods.

Sorry My English ain't that good!!! A friend just send a T-Shirt to NY and shipping was like $25.00...But I live like 2 Hours from Texas and the Items(RH1) are in Mexico city. A guy from Colombia asked him how much was shipping to his country and he told him that it was $45.00 dlls...Usa is closer so it should be a similar Fee.
-
Yeah he has a lot of RH1, he told me last week that he has many of them and also he also has other models. He's a very good seller my RH1 arrived in less than a day or 2. Shipping to the states isn't that expensive. So if anyone questions or doubts I can ask him with my account. BTW- Mercadolibre.com.mx is the Mexican Ebay...So maybe your ebay accounts work in that site!!!
-
Yeah I feel so happy!!! If anyone needs one they can buy them from a very safe seller in here http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx/MLM-16482737-_JM I don't know how much shipping is to the USA or Europe but as u can see they are very cheap compared to the ones in Ebay or other sites. $2,299.00 Pesos is like $210.00 dlls.

Like 2 months ago I was looking for a One-point Stereo Mic and after a lot of research I bought the Nady CM-2S. From what I read so far the At Pro 24 and Sony ECM-907 are both good choices but with a few more dlls you can get the Nady and its a better option than those Mics. One of the best options in the Market is the AT 822 but its a bit pricey compared to those mics. People that have the Sony ECM-907 say that it has great Stereo separation its also an Old Mic with nice reputation. I was in the same situation as you because I was going to buy the Sony ECM-907 or the At Pro 24 but in the end I bought the Nady CM-2S because I read owner comments and heared some samples and I knew it was the Mic I was looking for. So I reccomend you to Search the Forums and you'll see lots of topics with information regarding the Microphones you wanna get.

Need advice on Rec using a Hi-MD; Mic In or Line In?
Antala replied to Antala's topic in Live Recording
Hey Thanks a Lot A440; The console recording wasn't that good because like you said the band didn't sent the Dums trough the console and the Voices sound way more than the instruments. As Voices, the keyboard was also on top of Guitars and Bass on recording, this was because the band used very good Guitars & Bass amplifiers so it wasn't neccesary to add a lot of Volume from the Console. About the Battery Module I think I will need one because almost all of my recordings are of Rock Bands so the Mic Preamp is kind of useless for me. I will try next time to connect the Mic to the Console Mix and do some tests to see how it works. If possible I will take more time connecting everything and do some tests on Sound Checks. One thing that I admire of Hi-MDs is PCM Recording cause the sound that I record from Line In came so damn clean and it sounds amazing -
I bought the Sony MZ-NH700 and the Nade CM-2S Mic based on the recomendation on this site and very happy with my purchase. I already did many recordings and the quality of the Hi-MD and Mic are really Good. I always connect the Mic directly to the Mic-In and I know that the MZ-NH700 has a Mic Pre-Amp but I want to know if it will get better sound if I connect My Mic to the Line-in trough an external Pre-Amp? Another doubt that I have is that I connected my Hi-MD from the console trough Line In in a Concert but I didn't used any Mic and the quality of the Rec was average; So do you recommend to connect my Mic to the Mixer or Console and then record everything from Line-In? Thanks

My Sony MZ-NH700 arrived yesterday Am So Happy!!!! This is the first Minidisc player I bought and am very happy with the quality of the recording I done so far. Its in Great condition and the only thing thatw as missing was the Cd. Thanks everyone for helping me!!!

Hey I Just Bought the MZ-NH700. It was in Great condition working perfectly with everything from box included plus a lavoriel Mic for $100.00 dlls with shipping but I still bought the Nady CM-2S for Concerts Recordings. I took Arni advice and bought this model.I've been doing a lot of searching trough the forums, reading about software and hacks. I will use the Hi-MD only for recording cause I already have an MP3 Player so any tip for concert recording with the Nady Cm-2S or this Hi-MD model will be very welcome cause am New on this. My Hi-MD will arrive next week I can't wait.

Thanks. So I will get the RH-910 it ain´t that expensive considering the Free shipping and that its New. I can add a 2AA battery trough an adapter and I have many rechargeables so I think it will work fine for my recordings.

Thanks for the advice; What I am worried is the Guarantee because maybe is worth to spend $30.00 or $40.00dlls more and buy it here in case my Unit has a Malfunction or something wrong. In case I buy a Hi-MD here I have the Guarantee from Sony Mexico or at many times I have it directly with the Store. I will keep looking cause someone is offering me here in Mexico a New in Box RH-910 for $180.00dlls with an Additional GumStick Battery with shipping included. But to be honest I prefer the MZ-NH 700 Model so I will keep looking for that one. I already bought the Microphone so once my Mic arrives I will be connecting it to the Camcorder but thats only for now cause once I get the Hi-Md no way am using the Mic Input of my Camcorder. I know that the MZ-NH 700 Model will be a tough one to get cause its 3 years Old but remember if its 3 years Old in USA is 6 months Old in Mexico and thats why many stores here have this Model but unlucky me the stores that have it are selling it at a High price so my only hope its to wait for discounts and discounts are coming because Hi-MD is not selling well and there is high demand for Ipods and MP3s.

By the way I have a doubt; I know that HI-MD is way better than the NetMD for many reasons but if I buy the Hi-MD I will be using mostly MD Discs not Hi-MD Discs, this is because the HI-MD Discs are expensive and I won't find them in here so is it still better to spend more money and buy a HI-MD Recorder if I will be using MD Normal Discs?

Thanks. I just bought the Nady CM-2S because after doing alot of investigation I saw it was the best choice for my needs. I went to Local Electronic&Department stores and I saw the Hi-MD MZ-NH700 for $2,500.00 MXN Pesos($230 US) and I also saw the Hi-MD RH910 at $3,000.00 MXN Pesos($270 US). They are pretty expensive for "Old MiniDisc Technology" but in Ebay the MZ-NH700 is at $245.00 New so ain't that bad. I went to the Sony Style Shop and the Store guy told me they were discontinued. I will do a visit to other Electronic Stores so wish me Luck!!!
