  1. I guess I should mention that I already looked for broken plastic parts that were described by curls earlier...and I didn't find any...I'm including some pics just to be sure...although it might be hard for you guys to tell as I had to take the pics with my videocamera...which doesn't produce magnificent stills ;o)
  2. hey guys. I just stumbled onto this forum as I just found my minidisc player today and decided to see if I could get it working again. I also have the MZ-NE410 and I am having the same issues with mine. I press the forward button to skip to the next track and sometimes it will go BACK a track or two instead of forward...and sometimes I'll hit "forward" and it will increase or decrease the volume. So, I decided to take it apart today. I removed the two screws from the top, the two from the left side and the two from the bottom. I pressed the open button and grabbed onto the front of the minidisc player. The trick with getting the faceplate off of this model is that you have to hold the minidisc player so that the headphone and USB jacks are pointing toward the ceiling. Then you have to pull out and down so that the headphone jackcan be pulled down and out of it's socket in the case. Then I removed the screws that hold the board witrh the LCD onto the front...removed it and examined where the buttons hit the board...however...I still can't figure out how the hell I can push the "forward" button and the volume turns down or the track goes backwards...it doesn't even seem like that would be possible... so, if anyone else can get the faceplate off of this model and can figure something out...please let me know as well. cheers, -Sean
