Hi all, it seems I've missed the boat on the free fireware upgrade offered by Sony to the NW-HD1, giving it native mp3 support. It stopped at the end of March. Does anyone out there know how I could get my hands on it and perform the patch myself? A friend of mine pointed me in the direction of these Minidisc forums.
