  1. I have hundreds of songs recorded on older Hi-MD machines. Is there any creative way to upload these to my computer without recording them in real time? If I must do that what program would you suggest without having to fool around with volume levels, bit rates, etc. etc. All I want is to have the music sound the same on the computer as they were on the MD.
  2. Everything I record on my Mz-RH1 (Hi-MD) from the computer is digital (ATRAC3plus, 256kbps). When I upload this to my Mac the file is then WAV. Is the music now still digital or has the quality been diminished? If the music is then downloaded to a new HiMD will the music quality be the same as the original and is it still a digital file? Thanks.
  3. I am transfering music from my MD Recorder to my MAC. The manuel says tracks that have an eighth note in front of the track cannot be imported. Can someone explain why? All tracks were recorded on a 80 MD in the HiMD SP Mode.
  4. I find MD's very unstable. About 1 in every 15 or so MD's goes bad (read error, toc error, cannot play, cannot record, cannnot record or play) after they are full of recorded music. In many cases there were 40 to 50 songs recorded off the internet on 1G MD. YIKES! It seems the only way to protect myself is to upload a HiMD to my Mac and then if a MD goes bad I can simply dump the music back onto a new MD. The music I record is all digital. I have tried to trasfer my music digitally from one MD to another one but Sony blocks this. Can I upload music from my HiMD to my Mac, then add it to my iTunes Library, convert it to MP3 so as to take up much less space, then if need be convert it back to WAV and then load it back to a new HiMD? If this is all possible will the recording still be digital? Thanks for any help or advice you can give.
