Hey guys, I'm new here, but was sent here by a taper, who said that you'd be good people to ask! I'm looking to get into live recording of gigs, purely as an occasional hobby. Being a student I don't have much cash to spend on this, so I'm looking to get everything 2nd hand/on the cheap. I have a Sony Mz-N510 MD player, with an optical line in, which I've been told can't be used for live recording. I've been looking to get a HI MD recorder, of which there are two on eBay now, a MZ-NH600 and a MZ-RH910, both are between £40 and £50, which is just about in budget, which of the two (if any) would you recomend? I also need Mics and a Battery Box etc. any recomendations there? Would these be good enough, or should I be looking to shell out a bit more? Any help is brilliant Thanks very much, Georgeo
