  1. Really? Now, are you saying I can transfer them analog in real time with my MZ-N707? Just the regular Net MD player I already own? If so, how would I do something like that? Is there somewhere you could refer me to, or would it be easy for you to explain? I really appreciate all your help! If I didn't have to buy another unit and could transfer my files using my n707 that would be awesome!!! --Ben
  2. Shoot... So it looks like I will have to by a whole new unit? Do I really need to buy an rh1? That's one of the newest players! The older model players like the MZ-NH700 can take original recordings and transfer them to the computer right? I'm just really bummed...when I bought the Net MD I was misled into thinking it could transfer my original recordings. --Ben
  3. Hello, I'm new to the forum and I have a question to pose: I'm a musician and I currently own a Net MD MZ-N707. I love the recording quality it provides me, but I would really like to put my original recordings on my computer (we all regretably know that Net MD players can't do that). I recently discovered the hi-md players (which allow you to bring files from the MD player to the computer) and really want one. However, I have limited funds and can't shell out $350 for a new one, let alone $180 for a used/damaged one. I recently saw some MZ-NH600D's selling for much less. These are Hi-MD capable and can transfer data to and from the recorder to the computer...My problem with that unit is there's no microphone jack!! That's really the one feature I need for what I do. I've thought about it for a while and came up with this... Would it be possible for me to: 1) Record myself using my MZ-N707 on a regular 74 or 80 minute disc, then... 2) Take that disc and the original material on it over to the MZ-600D (as the Hi-MD's are backwards compatable) and then 3) Use the MZ-600D to transfer my original recordings onto my computer? I know it sounds convoluted and like way too much work, but i'm broke! and I need a solution! So if anyone cares to comment on this, please help me out! Will it work?!? --Ben
