tomflynn Posted October 7, 2004 Report Share Posted October 7, 2004 hello all, first post. i'm trying to fix my friend's mz-n1, it won't even play discs, it just whirrs, clicks and says READ ERR. so i checked the service mode and it said that the spindle and focus were causing problems, so i (foolishly) wiped the eeprom values to try to start from scratch, but it turns out that the service manual for the n1 here at minidisc.org is for the v1.000 firmware. is there ANY way i could find the values for the v1.300 firmware? otherwise i've just buggered her md. though it was buggered beforehand too... thanks in advance!
