I find Simple Burner very useful for transfering CD's to my NH900 Hi-MD, but it seems the program won't work with my HD3, forcing me to fill up my laptop hard drive with files prior to transfer via SonicStage. :ol_angry:

Anyone know why Sony won't/can't let us use Simple Burner for filling up Network Walkmans? It would seem a very obvious and quick method to get music onto the HD3/5.

MD Simple Burner is an exclusive MD utility. You can't utilize it for flash/HDD based device.

A little historical correction:

Simple Burner was the only way to get ATRAC3plus music on the D-NE1 and other first generation ATRAC3plus CD line of walkman. Needless to say, it wasn't a great way to transfer music. MP3 files were transcoded all at once, which took several hours. You could rip CD to Atrac3plus HiLP or HiLP48kbps mode, but that also took time. Finally, to add insult to injury, the program was quite crashprone.

Needless to say, the SonicStage 2.0 is quite an improvement from the SimpleBurner of yore.
