I have now reinstalled Windows twice (-after a hard disk format), I have re-installed Realplayer and my bundled software (Beat Jam) several times after complete removal (registry entries and all), and STILL there is NO SOUND coming from my minidisc after the files are transferred. The status bars go across, the minidisc shows the track info and its length etc. but there is NO SOUND coming out of my headphones!! My player has been away twice now for repairs-I'm assuming it's still knackered? Could somebody please help me? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It records from the MIC in line AND from my home stereo system....but NOT from my PC. I have completely re-installed EVERYTHING on my PC twice now, so that's why I'm assuming it's the minidisc player itself. It has just come back to me after being at a service center for 8 weeks!!!! This occurs far too often and I've begun to just ignore them. The answer in my reply was valid, and I will alleviate on such here for future reference: Reinstall via the directions in the NetMD faq.
