mike.ganley
I've got a problem using the expoert to Net-MD function in Sound Forge 7b. The progremme tells me to install the latest verison of OpenMG Jukebox. The Sony FAQ says insall the latest version of the 'OpeMG Secure Module' but has a dead link on the page. My version is the module is 3.1, So wher do I get a newer one from? Thanks for any help. Mike

Christopher
Uninstall everything via the directions in the NetMD faq [backup saved oma/omg tracks if necessary], then install Sonicstage 2.2, uninstall Sonicstage 2.2 and leave the OpenMG bits. mike.ganley
Maybe I'll just junk the wholoe thing! I've just downloaded the 'Installer' programme for Sonic Stage - its crap! It just terlls me that it can't contact the server and to check my internet connection, well how did it think it arrived on my computer? I'm running Windows 2000 on an Athlon 2400, every thing else works just fine apart ftom this Sony crap. Mike
Christopher
Windows 2000 eh? Make sure you have the latest Windows Updates [i.e. service packs], but if you have this hotfix: KB840987, uninstall it.
mike.ganley
Thanks to everyone who tried to help me out with this problem. I've done all the fixes and nothing works. So I'm giving up on using this function in Sound Forge and will have to use Sonic Stage (which works!) to export to the Net-MD. Sony's 'support' has been next to useless - why do'nt this supprize me?
