SonicStage frustration...keeps shutting down $&#@

Tonight seemed like a great night to make some new MDs. So I opened up SonicStage to begin the (tedious) process of importing some new music onto my drive to make a disc. As soon as I click on the "import" button, SonicStage shuts down. The same thing happens when I try to drag files onto the MD recorder as well. I can do other things, like browse existing playlists and format, but I cannot ADD NEW MUSIC to a blank MD. This is the first time this particular problem has occurred (it's always something new every time I open SonicStage; a bit of a wait-and-see what will go wrong sort of thing), but this is the ultimate in frustration because I can't do anything without it shutting down.

I can't find the software CDs that came with the MD player so I can't reinstall the software.

I am using an MZ-N510 and SonicStage 1.5 with Windows XP.

I can email a screenshot of the error if required...

Fantastic. I downloaded the upgrade to SonicStage 2.2. However, now the program won't even load. It shows me the shutdown window immediately upon clicking on the SonicStage icon. I can't even get into the program:

"Omgjbox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the #@*$ inconvenience."

Error signature: omgjbox.exe

AppVer: 2.9.0.9020

ModName: unknown

ModVer: 0.0.0.0

Offset: 7ffffffff
