RHYTHM_1
Okay fellaz, can someone please tell me what the output pwr is from this unit or what "headphone pwr range" (not brand type) should I be looking for that is compatable with the MZ-NH1? I cant seem to find a tech sheet that list the output pwr for this unit. So before my new family member arrives (MZ-NH1), I would like to purchase a reasonable set of cans based on the no#s(specs). Christopher
5mW. I would recommend headphones from here or here. What's your maximum budget, anyways?
RHYTHM_1
Hey kurisu, I dont want to spend no more than $150 for a set of canz and will be modifying them to fit my motorcycle Arai helmet. I will have to determine the weakiest link between the MZ-NH1 unit and SoundPro SP-HBA-2Headbanger headphone amp before I can decide on a set of cans. There is no need to drop down a whole bunch of loot on a nice azz set of cans since I cant hear above 20Hz and my setup (unit and amp)cant push them to the hi limit (Hi's and LO's)I have been seeing on some these hi fidelity cans, right. Based on my reasoning and setup above and the spec on the NH1, what would be your proffessional choice on a set of canz for me ? The headphone amp unit can be found at www.minidisco.com. Thanks Playa !
RHYTHM_1
The amp is a must for motorcycle riding , just in case if wanted to know why I included it in my setup.

Christopher
I wish I knew more about portable amps. Alot of people seem to favor a Xin SuperMini, Pimeta, Mint and others. Head-fi.org/forums is a good place for information on portable amps, and headphones in general. Maybe read up there a bit and bounce back here? aeriyn
A PIMETA is a nice amp to have, even portable... I just recently finished one myself, albeit it's not portable; I made it a home unit. MINT amps I've heard to be nice as well, they're basically a cut down META42 design that'll fit inside a mint tin. Rather cute, and probably sound better than your average CMoy. I would suggest earbuds for motorcycle use, unless you can get someone to mod the cans for you or you know how to do it without messing them up. I would wince if I accidentally ruined an expensive set of cans. I would make recommendations, but it's better to ask someone who's had experience with more than just Beyerdynamic DT440s, Shure E2cs and EX71s. I shouldn't have any problem with getting any type of studio headset to fit inside my helmet.
