jigger
Hi there I just bought a sony MZ-NH1 not knowing about the netmd limitations. I wantet to transfer a live-recording of my band to my PC.... not possible. (Recording was made on a friend`s sony MD) Sony does not allow me to listen to my own recordings ... thanx ! Is it possible to "tweak" sonicstage or to write a program that kills these sony-horror-limitations ? There seems to be a crack for everathing out there in the www. Or is there such a software allready ? Please excuse me if i ask stupid questions , i am new to this subject. Thanx
aeriyn
You can transfer tracks you recorded with the NH1; you cannot transfer tracks recorded in legacy MD mode (i.e. on a non-Hi-MD model). It is a limitation with the original MD format. Watch out though; SonicStage has been reported by several folks to randomly nuke live-recorded tracks that you try to transfer to the PC. And since it only allows you to make one single transfer... there goes your recordings.
