Hi, need some help:)

Got a Sony 30ES deck, that can output 20bits via optical toslink, so does anyone have recomendation as to what PC soundcard i can get to make files/wavs in 20bit rez?

Ive got some live concerts ive recorded over the years that i wanna convert:)

cant do the easy option of getting a uber Yamaha soundcard as ive not got coax out, but if this is the only viable option to keep 20bit rez i'll just have to get a THETA TLC to convert the optical to coax.

look forward to your comments, and be as technical as u want, i will understand:)

thx

James

A good brand to check out is M-Audio.

This card has a range up to 24-bit and has an optical in.

Maybe that's not right (I have very little experience with the extremely technical aspect of digital sound) but I know M-Audio makes some top-notch stuff.
