Help!!! I have customers that are having problems

Hey yall. Question of the day. I have been having customers bring in their hi-mds with an error message of recorder error. This only shows up after completing a track. As far as I can tell the actual discs themselves are corrupted. And for some reason it seems that the new discs, not packaged with the unit, are ok. Please help!!
