tref_h
okay, my old PC was getting very cranky, and finally Windows gave up all together. I put the HDD in another PC and rescued the contents off to CD with Nero. Then, when i tried to rebuild the windows install, the drive suffered a terminal failure - the HDD is dead. I reinstalled sonic stage on another pc, and tried to rescue all my OMG packages, but it won't play and only tells me 'there is invalid rights management information in the OMG content' i guess this means it's spitting its dummy out cos the data's not in the original place and it thinks there is copyright violation in progress... is there any way round this? I *do* have the original (bought!!) CD's for all the content, but it was a very large collection and i'd much rather not have to re-rip it all all over again... there were many gigabytes of stuff there... Christopher
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there's nothing you can do. The only way to do this is to use the Sonicstage backup utlity. Welcome to the forums, btw.
