MDGB2
Hi, I want to install simpleburner on another PC at home and wondered if it is possible to import the file(s) that store the CD details that I have typed in the current installation, into a new installation. Is this possible and if so which files would I need to copy? Any help appreciated, Cheers.
Christopher
You need to use the Sonicstage backup utility for this I believe..but I may be misunderstanding you. Are you referring to the track title and information? If so, then that should be automatically inserted by CDDB.
MDGB2
It is the track and title information that I want, but I haven't registered CDDB. I just type my track names in manually.
doclloyd
I think there's just a Register button in Simpleburner. I've never (to my recollection) had to put in any personal info for it. I think the software takes care of it and I get CD info. The one thing I would like it to do is be able to pull in and transfer individual track/artist info. I have a number of compilation discs and so far it will use whatever the main artist name is for the disc and not pull in the artist listed on each track. SS does this just fine, however. I would think you could just copy this to your new PC (after SimpleBurner was installed, of course). Take a look and see
