mrwath Posted December 7, 2004 Report Share Posted December 7, 2004 Can anyone help? I have a panasonic SC-PM37 MD Hi-fi and only external source seems to be a usb cable. I do have rca adapters but they only for accepting a source (such as my record player). Basically what i want to know if it is possible can i record songs played on my hi-fi onto my computer via this usb cable as i have a lot of tapes/vinyl/minidiscs which i wish to back up onto cd. I thought i could record my tapes and vinyl onto md then transfer the sound via the line in socket to my microphone socket on my lap top. Is there any software so i can upload? I have seen this hardware by creation labs called soundblaster MP3 and it says u plug in via 2 rca cables and in turn u plug the hardware into the laptop via usb. Have u heard of it?
