Hey, kind of new to the whole MD thing, definatly disappointed in the software... anyways, here's my problem.

I have a MD MZ-N420D

and I get the message:

Cannot convert the specified track.

SonicStage does not support the file format of the track.

Tracks

when I try to put .mp3's onto my MD using SonicStage 2.0.02

(OpenMG Secure Module 3.4.01.13301

MagicGate Memory Stick Device : 3.4.01.13301

NW-E2, NW-E3, NW-E5 and NW-E8P : 3.4.01.13301

OpenMG CD : 3.4.01.13301

CD Walkman : 3.4.01.13301

Hi-MD : 3.4.01.13301

Music Clip, NW-S4, NW-E7 and NW-E10 : 3.4.01.13301

HDWM : 3.4.01.13301

Net MD : 3.4.01.13301

Px Engine: 1.6.14.507

SonicStage Add-on for MD Walkman : 2.0.01.13230)

What exactly is the problem? I have tried just about EVERY mp3 file on my computer, and nothing will work. Also, when I try to use RealPlayer, which has worked for me before, I get this message after a track transfers up to 50%:

'One or more files could not be transferred. Please make sure that there is sufficient space on your portable device, and that the files type(s) you are transferring are supported.'

even though the disc is blank, and they are normal .mp3 files that I have transferred once before onto an MD.

This might be the reason behind it, but I am not sure, I bought the MD, installed everything on the installation CD, then installed real player and found it to work better than SonicStage, so I uninstalled SonicStage and OpenMG from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, and it has not worked since then.

Help would be greatly appreciated...
