Best decently-priced sound card w/optical in/out built-in?

The subject basically speaks for itself. I'm looking for a sound card that isn't too expensive (<$100 if possible) that has Optical out capabilities (in wouldn't be so bad either.) I currently have a SB PCI128 card. Basic, gets the job done for day to day. Starting to look for more as I delve into music creation on the side (just got ACID Music Studio 5.0).

Does it just make sense to get a USB audio device with this functionality instead? Thoughts are appreciated.

While I drool over the Edirol, I note that you were looking for something under $100. Creative often sells its own Extigy refurbished on Ebay for something like $70, and it's got optical in/out and lots of other input-outputs.

Here's one listed:

The Philips Aurilium was designed as an answer to the Extigy, check those out too.

Well, if you're willing to spend about $120.00 you can probably pick up an E-MU 0404 soundcard.

I have one in my "studio computer" (Pretty much a crappy computer that I use to mix and edit things that I record. ;P)

Really, the inputs/outputs of the card can't be beat for the price:

Two 1/4" Analog Inputs and Outputs

Optical 24-bit/96kHz S/PDIF In/Out (switchable to AES/EBU)

Coaxial 24-bit/96kHz S/PDIF In/Out (switchable to AES/EBU)

MIDI In/Out

It works flawlessly with FL Studio, so I assume that it would work just as well with Acid.
