This application can also manage audio files on your Portable Audio Player by organizing or deleting tracks and albums transferred to the player. However, you cannot edit names of tracks and albums on your Portable Audio Player using this application. Getting Started with MP3 File Manager Connect your Portable Audio Player to the computer using the provided USB cable. Open Windows Explorer; your player will appear as a Removable Disk drive type. Double-click on that drive. In the MP3FM folder, double-click on the Mp3FileManager.exe file. The MP3 File Manager will now launch. The first time you launch the MP3 File Manager, both this operation instruction window and the MP3 File Manager window will open. Close the operation instruction window. You are ready to use MP3 File Manager!Note: When MP3 File Manager is in use, press the F1 key to display the operation instruction window. Unless you uncheck the box in the lower part of the operation instruction window, the operation instructions will be displayed every time you launch MP3 File Manager. Understanding MP3 File ManagerThe MP3 File Manager interface contains three main areas: • Main View Area - displays and manages audio files and albums. • Control Area - contains control buttons for content and application management. • Memory Display Area - indicates available and used memory on your Portable Audio Player. Transferring audio files from a computer to your Portable Audio PlayerYou can transfer either individual MP3 files or folders containing MP3 files from a computer to your Portable Audio Player. To transfer MP3 files, follow the process below: Connect your Portable Audio Player to the computer and launch MP3 File Manager. For instructions on how to launch MP3 File Manager, refer to the Getting Started with MP3 File Manager section. Locate the MP3 file(s) or folder(s) you wish to transfer to your player. Drag the selected MP3 file(s) or folder(s) and drop them in the MP3 File Manager Main View Area. An MP3 File Manager prompt will indicate that the application is preparing for the transfer. During this time, the MP3 File Manager application identifies which of the selected MP3 file(s) or folder(s) are valid for transfer, and estimates the available space on your Portable Audio Player. The transfer will automatically begin after the preparation process is completed. The transfer status window will indicate the track number, name and percentage of the current track being transferred, and the total number of tracks of the current album. If you wish to abort the transfer process, click the Cancel button. After the transfer process is complete, the transferred MP3 files can be played on your Portable Audio Player. The audio tracks on your Portable Audio Player are arranged by albums. When transferring individual tracks to an empty Portable Audio Player, a new album is created by default. If there are already albums in the Main View Area, tracks are added to the album at the very bottom. If you wish to add tracks to a specific album, drag and drop the selected tracks to an existing album. Albums cannot be created within the MP3 File Manager window and need to be created on your PC before transferring to your Portable Audio Player.
