With the default settings (Standard transfer mode), tracks (such as ATRAC3plus or Mp3) are transferred in their original format and bit rates. To transfer tracks in any other format: click "Settings" in the middle of the transfer window and then select your desired bit rates under "Transfer Mode." In addition, ensure that you have selected the correct track in question for the transfer.

Please note: According to SonicStage 3.2 Help Index, if the specified bit rate is higher than the bit rate of the original file, the file will likely be transferred at the original bit rate without being converted.

Thank you for the answer, but:

I had it converted yet and mp3 file are present in the SonicStage database and transfered to the device insted of atrac3plus files with any setting.

If I delete if from hard disk manualy, then SS32 say: "Cannot found file" or smth similar.

You do not have to delete the mp3; just remove it from the library and re-import the ATRAC3plus track you have converted. You should be able to transfer your desired ATRAC3plus without any issues to your device.

How to remove it (mp3 after Conversion to Atrac3) from the library?

I found only the way to do it using "File Properties". But you must:

1. Select File Properties.

2. Go to the Formats.

3. Select "MP3" and press "Delete"

4. Press "Next" button and repeat step 3 for each converted file (~200-300) :ol_shocked: .

Is it possible to do it for all at one time?

Unfortunately, removal of Mp3s (or even ATRAC) will nevertheless be somewhat tedious. However, if you view "My Library" by "View all tracks," you can have a “birds eye” view so to speak as to which track is of Mp3 format. Accordingly, select multiple tracks by holding down the “Ctrl” button while selecting the Mp3s in question. When you are satisfied with your selection, you can remove/delete those tracks at one go. Voila

Hmm, all mp3 + atrac3 :ol_cry:

Thank you for your answers.

I undestand, that this is the feature number 1 of the SS32.

But strange, that it send mp3 files to the device. It is not like SONY (on SONY soft it must send atrac3 and in some special cases mp3). Is it progress to mp3 side :ol_biggrin:
