Emtec (the former BASF, which used to be AGFA) was the last European manufacturer and ceased manufacuring in 2002. An audio account of the closing can be heard at NPR.The end of an era. I'm not sad.The only thing, that disturbs me are the job losses.Not having alternative work for these workers shows incompetencefrom the employer's side.
