I’m very grateful to find here. I want to ask follow question.

We always use one stereo mics record sound. But in some case, I want to use two or more mics.

I have same two mics(sony ecm-907)and a mic mixer(sony mx-50).I find the mixer only input mono singal but my mic is sterto,so it's not feasible to use mixer to record in two mics.

How should i do? Thanks a lot

If you get a Y adapter, you can split the output of the mic into two mono channels. This is assuming it's a self-powered or unpowered mic, since the mixer probably doesn't supply plug-in power.

What you need is this: 3.5 stereo jack to dual 3.5mm mono plugs

Thank dex Otaku you are professional. I think my question is the mic I got have 3.5 stereo plug, but my mixer only input mono plug how can I connect with them and how can I use two mic which have 3.5 stereo record? In my opinion, if I use two stereo mic records there are 4 way output how can I mix them into 2 ways?

This is what additional mixer channels are for. If you want to mix two stereo mics, that's 4 channels. Ergo, you'll need a mixer with at least 4 channels.

In the example I gave, each mono plug from the y adapter is a side of the mic, and each one would then have its own plug. One mixer channel per mic [side], then.
