SonicStage 3.2: Importing CDs/folders as albums?

I ripped some of my own CDs using SS3.2, then had to reinstall. I deleted the My Library listings (not the music files) because some compilations got munged and showed up as individual tracks. I only want to have each ripped CD show up in My Library as a separate album (duh!). Each one is on my hd as a folder with the music files in it, as expected. However, the Import function only brings them in (from compilation albums) as individual tracks (a lot of them!)

How can I import my music album folders as complete albums (one per folder), as originally ripped?

Welcome to ALC!

To organize individual tracks of the same album: Ensure that you select "Tracks in the compilation albums" (within track properties) on the tracks in question. In addition, ensure that all the tracks of the same album have identical album title.

To import a specific album folder into SonicStage 3.2: File --> Import --> Scan Folder --> Select "Settings" --> Select the desired folder within the "Import Files" window.

Note: Because by default, SonicStage sort music tracks by artist, tracks of the same album but with various artists will be placed as individual tracks. Thus, you will need to re-organize the tracks accordingly as outlined above.

Ah, this explains what happened! Didn't know of the option to denote trcks within a comp. album. Thanks!

BTW, is there a manual anywhere for SonicStage? I would really like a pdf file or such that can be printed out. Not too crazy about the onscreen-only help windows.
