And1
The audio on my MZ-N510 is only coming out of one side of my earphones (left side) with no audio coming out of the other side (right side). The only way I can make audio come out of the right earphone is to fiddle around with the earphone socket, i.e. apply abit of pressure to the connection where the MD and earphone is connected. To me this could imply something loose inside the MD somewhere. The problem does not seem to lie with the earphones themselves as they work perfectly with any other audio device I have (CD players etc.)Could anybody have a solution or recommendations? Thanks in advance.
dex Otaku
Recommendation: service or replace. The earphone jack is probably either broken inside, corroded, or [most likely] the solder joint to the logic board inside has broken. You can likely pick up a functional used replacement for less money than fixing the headphone out would cost.
