flinx78
System Specs:Player: NW-HD5 (UK) Firmware 1.2SS3.2OS: Win XP ProAsus SLI deluxe MoboAMD 4400 X22 Gig DDR400Audigy 2SATA2 Raid DrivesRecently upgraded from SS3.1 to 3.2. Thouroughly enjoying much faster transfer rates to player however, something very strange is happening. On every single album I transfer the software point blank refuses to transfer the first track of every one of them. I have tried moving the track to a different order in the list; renaming the track; deleting the track (and album) from the library and rescanning for it and no go. Every time it refuses to transfer the track. Always the same message "Unable to transfer track "***".I had installed the Euro version of SS3.2 and for some reason it will also not allow me to authorise my player. Should I maybe go with the US version. Please advise if you can as this little headache is driving me completely bananas!!!!regardsGrantPOSTSCRIPT:Problem solved. Now working and is blisteringly fast at transferring.Simply initailised the drive (which it didn't tell me to do!) and everything started working perfectly. Still can't authorise the device though. Edited September 2, 2005 by flinx78
Christopher
Welcome -- authorization is the pits. The only thing it does is wipe your drive (along with whatever handshaking it does with Sony). Where do you live, anyways?
