LOL!

Same thing here as well: how to copy analog-recorded audio from net-MD to PC (checking-in...?)

My model is a mz-n710 (the european version... wacko.gif ) and I've read the manual thousands of times, and no sign of checkin-in at all!!!

All I can find is info about checking-out: tranferring data (MP3 ie) from PC to net-MD thru usb.

Now can somebody tell me: is there a way to get transfer dj-sets, analog recorded with my precious mz-n710, on my PC thru the usb connection??? Is it possible at all?

Does this mean I need to "modify" the firmware ph34r.gif ? Or do I need to find the right software...

'

Hope we'll find out soon...

Ape is in a tree!!!

There is no way to upload from standard MD.

If you have a home deck, you can use its optical output to copy audio digitally to whatever recorder you wish [including the optical in of a computer].

Otherwise your only choice is to copy things from the line- or headphone-out of the MD portable to the line-in of your PC, recording analogue and in real time.

I'm almost surprised - this question gets asked as many as 5-10 times a week, and yet, people are still asking it - despite the fact that there are easily-found instructions on how to copy audio from your MD to you PC, right in the same forum where people post the message; also despite the fact that there are however many other posts asking the same question, right there before them.

You just have to wonder sometimes.
