bargun9
I think I'm clear on everything except this one issue:I have read that sometimes while copying your recorded files (live via a mic) from your HiMD recorder through USB to your PC using SS it can sometimes crash. I don't know if this issue has been resolved since the last time I was researching this topic. If SS crashes and I am forced to start the transfer over again then no worries... however, it almost sounded like if SS crashes during a USB transfer that the source files that are actually on your MD will be erased or damaged. Can someone please verify this situation for me? Will SS accidentally erase or damage files on my HiMD during a USB transfer of something goes wrong?I really want a new HiMD recorder because of the convenience of copying my many live home audio demos over to computer without having to wait for long analog transfers (not to mention the splitting and saving involved). However, if USB transfer isn't reliable and can damage the source files it might not be for me. I would hate to lose a MD full of hours of medium-sound-quality demos to be lost during a bad transfer. Thanks for your help!-Bargun9
Christopher
This issue has been seemingly nullified with Sonicstage 2.3: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7687
