nite
hi, I upgraded to SonicStage 2.to use the Wav conversion tool: when I open the tool, the library is empty. I assume this is as the default location of the library has changed. Is there any way to force it to check another directory? It's on a mate machine, so havent had a chance to try moving the folder back to the original location. What is the default library folder by the way? cheers, andy
Christopher
Try using Marcnet's Hi-MD renderer. Much better at locating files, regardless of directory.

StEaLtH
Here is solution. You have to import you files (that was recorded from analog source) in SS. Then lunch Wave Converter and select in dropdown menu, something like - ** all ****** or last. Then list of files? ready to conversion is appears. Good luck

lynnemc
Hi there - I am also having a problem with the library in the WAV conversion tool being empty, and the previous posts don't solve it, alas. Choosing "all convertible tracks" on the display mode does not display any files. An online-tutorial indicated that I should also be able to choose "Recorded on HiMD" (or something like that - I can't remember exactly) from the display mode, but that doesn't appear. The recordings I am attempting to convert were recorded live on an MZ-NH1 through the Mic input, so they should be convertible, yes? They were originally transferred from the MZ-NH1 to SonicStage 2.0. Then I upgraded to SonicStage 2.3 (the files transferred to the 2.3 version okay, as far as I can tell). Then I downloaded the WAV conversion tool, but it isn't picking up the files from the SonicStage library. Can anyone help?I want to burn these files to CD but it has been an incredibly frustrating trip!! Reading the posts here has been extremely helpful - thanks so much for all the info. I was so glad to find out I wasn't the only one cursing Sony. lynnemc
Try Marcnet's utility.←I just did, and it worked, so kudos to him and I'll be tripping over there to make a donation.Still, I'd like to see if I can get the sony wav converter to work...if only to hold their asses to some accountability. It should work!!I know, I know.....it's a fool's errand....
