hi,

I upgraded to SonicStage 2.to use the Wav conversion tool: when I open the tool, the library is empty. I assume this is as the default location of the library has changed. Is there any way to force it to check another directory?

It's on a mate machine, so havent had a chance to try moving the folder back to the original location. What is the default library folder by the way?

cheers,

andy

Note that the WAV conversion tool will only display media that has been uploaded from Hi-MD to PC, and recorded from an analog connection (not digital).

Hi there -

I am also having a problem with the library in the WAV conversion tool being empty, and the previous posts don't solve it, alas. Choosing "all convertible tracks" on the display mode does not display any files. An online-tutorial indicated that I should also be able to choose "Recorded on HiMD" (or something like that - I can't remember exactly) from the display mode, but that doesn't appear.

The recordings I am attempting to convert were recorded live on an MZ-NH1 through the Mic input, so they should be convertible, yes? They were originally transferred from the MZ-NH1 to SonicStage 2.0. Then I upgraded to SonicStage 2.3 (the files transferred to the 2.3 version okay, as far as I can tell). Then I downloaded the WAV conversion tool, but it isn't picking up the files from the SonicStage library.

Can anyone help?

I want to burn these files to CD but it has been an incredibly frustrating trip!! Reading the posts here has been extremely helpful - thanks so much for all the info. I was so glad to find out I wasn't the only one cursing Sony.
