Choosing The Best Impedance/sensitivity Phones

Just bought a PHILIPS AE6370 pocket radio - okay, it is not a MD unit, but it is great to carry it anywhere, especially if you have more than 30 FM stations in the air...

The problem is the built-in headphones amplifier produces a lot of noise. This constant background noise is best audible with volume set to minimum (and it does not icrease with the inceasing volume), however it is loud enough to make the listening at low volumes almost impossible.

The question: Is there any chance to eliminate this noise purchasing other than original Philips headphones? (Philips sadly does not quote the parameters of the purchased ones...)

Is impedance 16 Ohm better than 32 Ohm?

Should I choose the low senstitive (+/- 90dB) or high senstitivity (+/- 105 dB) phones?

Many thanks.

David
