Wallypike69
Ok guys & gals... heres the situation: I recently bought sony 600 md recorder I had to re sell as it had no mic or line in input. Me and my band want to record our live shows then upload to pc to make cd for loyal fans. Being a nooB at this I dont want to make the same mistake twice. Can anyone recommend a MD recorder to do all this .... or should I wait for the new models to come out. I looking for quality recordings not really concerned about the spped or time it will take to make the cd.. just quality. Thanks in advance,Jamesadamhood.comwaynemillsband.com
Bananatree
Either pick up a NH700, NH900 or NH1, all of these recorders have MIC and line in. Then you can go through USB to upload your recordings. Either with sonicstage or Marcnet's HiMD render.
LowMD
The NHF-800 is easier to find in the US than the NH700, it's the same recorder plus an FM radio in the remote. It will also do the job for you. Sony really shouldn't bill the NH600D as a "recorder" when it's just a downloader.

Wallypike69
What's your impressions of it?← Wow its really nice!!! One question i have though . WHen recording my bands shows. I noticed there is a delay when stopping it to start a new track to record. Would you recommmend keep it recording for the whole show ( no stops) . Then use some software to edit and seperate it into tracks? If so what would you use? Thanks!!
